As humans, it is a natural curiosity for us to want to relate and this often comes with this question to me, “Where do you come from?

A simple answer is, I was born in India, and spent 21 yrs absorbing the experiences as a child, teenager, and a young woman. With a family who believed in the active pursuit of academic intellect, I left India to explore the Western world of thinking and living including United States, and Australia.

The next twenty plus years revealed the heart of the intrepid curious child who loved to learn the boundaries of self by embracing change. One lasting change included transitioning from systemic environmental engineer to a systemic oriented family therapist for children and youth (You can peruse my CV).

My W-E passion is to embed culture and relational recovery into western models of individual treatment for children and families in rural and remote areas around the world…and play a healing part towards restoring identity and dignity with Indigenous and Refugee sons, daughters, fathers and mothers.
