W-E Values and Beliefs
Our approach in providing W-E Services
Healing the brain-body
W-E honours Indigenous knowledge and wisdom to integrate brain and body experiences for healthy mind.
W-E believes in evidence based practice from integrating the principles of yoga science with developmental neuroscience for a child, teen or adult to heal from emotional trauma and/or cope with a neurodiverse condition.
Healing within relationships
W-E integrates the principles of Indigenous cultures and attachment theories for the ‘self’ to be co-constructed with beliefs and relationships.
W-E measures mental health through relational health. W-E provides services to support individuals, families and professionals to gain skills around attuned relationships for mental wellness.
Healing within community
W-E embraces the community connections and rituals that can help nourish and strengthen the individual needs for belonging.
W-E workshops help communities bridge mental health knowledge with cultural wisdom. W-E measures spiritual health with one’s sense of belonging within the community one associates with or one desires to belong.
